Inspired by restricted mobility, osteoporosis and arthritis, my Yoga for Seniors class is designed to keep joints limber and reduce inflammation, joint pain, stiffness, and swelling.

The breath techniques support better cardiovascular health, decreases blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and heart rate.

With the use of a chair, this form of movement may help with certain health conditions, such as arthritis, to exercise without putting pressure on joints. It may also reduce the fear of falling, and help prectitioners who are not used to exercise to begin improving their strength and sense of balance.
